interestingly, RUNE very clearly demonstrates the 2 value segmentations of a "productive protocol" very well
however, that does NOT make such investments sure wins
- deterministic value can fall with weakening fundamentals
- speculative value can drop for multitudes of reasons
this just means that in this case, the value is not entirely driven by animals spirits (but still largely is)
can the project fail and eventually be worthless?
of course it can, and if it does, its token should also be worthless as well
that seems pretty fair to me
notes to take away?
- projects with a deterministic value cannot reasonably teleport to $0 and stay there
- speculate on multiples expanding, and exit when you think multiples are contracting
- 2nd is always true, unless you think fundamentals are increasing at a rapid pace
i feel like the above tweets are probably the most important tweets ill do today, but no one is going to read them because its just radiating thicc goopy alpha and ppl only like to see crypto memes on an anime template

bought an altcoin 3 days ago based on a thesis
never talked about it (and i still wont name it)
trying out a new policy where i avoid exposing my positions
had the time to validate my thesis today
it was completely wrong
sold off my position
oddly managed to book a nice profit
#1 if everyone is wrong together, you can still make money
#2 its harder to hold on to positions when you know your thesis wrong
#3 a positive outcome doesnt mean it was a good process, vice versa, a negative outcome doesnt mean it was a bad process
i *should* have tested my thesis first before i initiated my position
but sometimes time is of the essence, so i sized so i could "ape first, think later" without risk of ruin
and when i thought later, i realized i was wrong
still made money tho, this market is so broken lol
cheat sheet

these tweets by scupy got me thinking
i suppose the reason why im a profit maxi is the same reason why i farm ponzis
to extract value from an area which i think has no long term value, and funnel it into assets and to projects that i believe in, or would like to believe in
if its the winners of war write the history
then its the rich of today that prescribes what is valuable? 🤔
like mfking rocks
if you're an ETHvangelist, its almost your civic duty to crusade to other chains and pillage them so that they may not prosper and become a threat to your empire
rather than sit at home and pray for buterin blessings to salvage you
so imo, not using bridges and crusading to other chains is not a sign of true resolve and purity in the following the gwei and keeping faith
but rather, a sign of weakness, of being unwilling to do whatever it takes to increase the odds of ensuring complete global saturation
hyperbolic, but fun to tweet and hopefully fun for you to read as well haha

we have so many bridges and routers, yet the "solution" of moving (asset A, chain X) to (asset B, chain Y) still does not have an intuitive formula to solve, with clear fees and bridging duration
not even talking normies here, this is still an issue for the crypto defi natives
possible routes (asset A, chain X) to (asset B, chain Y)
1. swap A to B on X, then move B from X to Y
2. move A from X to Y, then swap A to B on Y
3. swap A on X to B on Y
need info on
1) which route gives the largest final B on Y?
2) how long for each route?
3) bridge limits
even more advanced logic would search for unbalanced pairs on unbalanced chain bridges
and then tell you to detour from asset A to C to B
and/or from chain X to Z to Y
to maximize the final output amount
yes, im aware of lifi
i think its a good start
we had AMM DEXes and then we had DEX aggregators
we have bridges and we will have bridge aggregators? 🤔
so many bridges now
yet all the fucking 17/18 interoperability alliance tokens became dogshit trash
